CaseSkins are sold by
PolyGFX and are a flexible, adhesive vinyl which you can print on; the possibilities are only limited by your imagination, and how well your PC can edit 300dpi Photoshop files!
Here are some examples of past projects we have done using CaseSkins:
Wil wrote our
first review back in February 2004, where he produced the first bit-tech themed CaseSkin PC. Yet the true potential of the product only began to emerge in July when Take 2 Interactive asked us to produce two systems to be used as competition prizes, to celebrate the release of Vietcong: Fist Alpha. Jamie obliged, designing an eye-catching
cammoflage skin including a Bezel Skin.
For September's ECTS / London Games Week, we pushed the boundaries again in the form of
Project Synapse, the ultimate VIA-powered gaming rig. The system featured a full CaseSkin designed by our own Chris Caines, including side window, Bezel Skin with VFD and stealthed DVD writer, as well as matching keyboard and Ratpad.
The next challenge was to create a compelling CaseSkin design based around Vivendi PR's requirements...
